The condition of Nepali women ......
Nepal is a small landlocked country in South Asia. According to the geographical structure, Nepal is divided into three parts, mountains, hills and lowlands. Compared to the mountains and hills, the Terai is somewhat easier to develop on the basis of geographical structure. Among the population of Nepal, 51 percent are women and 49 percent are men. Although there are more women in terms of population, they are lagging behind men in various respects. As a male-dominated country, Nepal's women are far behind in politics, leadership, public participation, and social work. With the change of modern times, women of other developed countries have come to compete with men, but women of Nepal are far behind in this regard.
Nepal's tradition, culture, stereotypes and women have been placed in the second place, so Nepali women have not been able to uplift. In Nepal, women do not get many opportunities to participate in other places except housework and housework. Due to being deprived of opportunities, Nepal's women are still confined to their homes in the 21st century. Even now, Nepali society has not been able to rise above the traditional stereotypes. In Nepali society even today there is a difference between sons and daughters. It is customary to send a son to an expensive private school and a daughter to a government school. Due to discrimination between sons and daughters in education, women in Nepal are very illiterate. In Nepal, women are lagging behind due to their illiteracy. Nepal's women are still far behind in the belief that women should not study much and should get married on time. Getting married at a young age, having children at an early age and being treated at home at an early age is becoming more and more prevalent. Nepali society is still so backward that even in the 21st century, many Nepali women die due to the practice of jaijo. Hundreds of women die of famine every year, especially in the Terai region of Nepal. In western Nepal, it is a sin not to go inside when a woman is Menstruation, and there is a blind belief that gods are angry. Adolescents are losing their lives every year while sleeping in a small hut outside the house due to the blind belief that women are not allowed to enter when they are Menstruation and the gods are angry.
Women have not been able to move forward due to the social norms and beliefs that women should not study much and should not move forward. Women, who have always been limited to cooking and housework, must now break this belief and come out in open love. Women must also dare to move forward. Even now, if women are limited to household chores by recognizing social traditions and evil practices, it is certain that Nepalis will be 100 years behind women in other developed countries. Women are equal to men. They are able to do everything like men. It is important to have faith and trust in women. If you want to change communication, you have to start with yourself.

Earthquake in a memory
Houses destroyed by the earthquake |
Injured people |
Uder tent plying baby afer earthquake |
Saturday was a day off. After cleaning and eating, I entered the office about 5 minutes to send a mail. At around 11:58 on the 12th of Baishakh, 2072 BS, I was sitting in a chair, it felt like something was shaking, suddenly a loud noise came from outside and I ran out. When I ran out of the office room, I saw all the people running around crying and shouting that there was an earthquake. I also went to an open space outside the office to save my life. When I reached the open space, all the big buildings and houses had collapsed. People around were shouting for help but the tremors had not stopped yet and there was no way to rescue them. Telephone, electricity and internet services were all cut off and communication was not possible. I tried hard to call home but could not get in touch as the communication service was down. I was thinking that the same thing happened to the house. The tremors started to stop and we hurried towards the rescue. The houses were all destroyed and people were trapped. Our team rushed to rescue the buried people as soon as possible with the help we had. We split the group and started the rescue as soon as possible. You rushed to the house to search for the people who were buried in the house. There was no ambulance service as the roads were completely closed due to landslides. We worked hard all day that day. On the second day also, like the first day, we worked hard in the morning. As the rescue operation was over at our place of residence, we went to various other places in our district for rescue. As all the roads were closed, we reached various places on foot and rescue them. We used to feel hungry when we worked in rescue all day, but since there was no place to eat, we had water, noodles and biscuits with us to satisfy our hunger. Again we would start the rescue. Dead people would be found in disarray and weeping at the sight of corpses. Elsewhere, we would talk to our friends at the rescue, telling them that only human hands, heads, and legs had been found, and cursing God for what Ken had done. Some have no parents, some have no children, some have lost all their relatives, Seeing this situation, we also hid the pain of the heart and sympathized with those who lost their relatives. There was no telling how many people died or how many were injured. The hospital was full of injured people and on one side was full of dead bodies. The injured could not be treated here and were airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment.
Rescue operations continued. As the rainy season started after half a month, another problem was added. The house collapsed, making it very difficult to live during the rainy season. Under the tent that came with the help of the Government of Nepal and the international community, you cut the rain of that year. Sometimes it used to happen that I used to sleep in the open field with a ditch, so when it rained a lot, I used to get used to it from under the ditch. Similarly, at the end of the month of July, we walked for about two days from the district headquarters to Langtang to search for the missing citizen. The next day we reached Langtang after staying on the middle road as the awkward road was very far. Seeing such awkward scenes on the way, it was probably beyond imagination. As it was a very difficult place and people could not go for rescue in time, the corpses of dead people, pets, skeletons and pots were scattered on the road. The purpose of our visit was to search for a person who had been buried by an avalanche after the earthquake. But because of the snow, it was not possible to find the body, and after a 10-day stay, we returned to Rasuwa. As Rasuwa is a tourist destination, hundreds of foreigners came to visit. There was no accounting of how many died and how many were lost. Many wise and rescue workers had come from abroad to search for their missing citizens. According to our records, more than 600 people died in our area. There was no record of injured or missing people. Probably the most painful and traumatic event in my life, where hundreds of people had died right before my eyes.So when we build buildings and houses, we need to make them earthquake resistant so that we can be safe.
The rest is ...
My dream
Every people have their own dream.yes I also have a small dream.now I am a government jobholder. After retirement I will fulfill my dream.i have no such that big dream.i have only one dream that to change my village.i live in a small remote village where is still no infrastructure for development.people are living in old traditional socity yet.i am always worried about how to change my village and go ahead for develop.all people are uneducated and some educated people go abroad for foreign employment. All the people there are farmer. The grain produced by the farmer is not enough to eat even for six months.Rest six mont the farmer should be buy grain to eat.the villager life style is so weak.so I am thinking how to rise villagers life style.First off all I have to manage basic develop infrastructure as road, drinking water, electricity, communication and health. Villagers are suffering due to lack of basic development.there is my only one aim that I want to changes villagers mentaily thinking. First of all, the people of the village should be encouraged to engage in the development of social sentiment and public participation. My little dream will come true only if I can lift this miserable condition of the village. I will be cursed by my homeland for leaving my beloved homeland and moving to a city. So, it is not a matter of going to a market with comforts and conveniences, but of making our own remote village accessible and making our own village a city. My request to all is not to leave our beautiful and clean village and go to the city to seek happiness, but to work together to make the village a beautiful model city so that our descendants can live happily in their homeland. If I could break the roots of development in this village, even if only a little, and if I could change something, I will always be remembered in this village.
